“It is Easier to Build Strong Children than to Repair Broken Adults” – Prof David Rowitch

We’re excited to present the next speaker in the MedSoc talk series: Professor David Rowitch. Professor Rowitch is the academic lead for the new Cambridge Children’s Hospital.
Cambridge Children’s Hospital has the aim of revolutionising healthcare for children by integrating the treatment of physical and mental health. Staff will be dual trained; research will be conducted into the links between psychological and physical conditions; and genomic medicine will be used to try and prevent illness before it arises.
Professor Rowitch will be speaking on this and other topics, to argue that ‘it is easier to build strong children than to repair broken adults.’
